Laughter comes to The Loft Tahoe at Stateline with Howie’s House of Comedy

That’s right. Howie’s House of Comedy is coming to The Loft Tahoe every Sunday starting on March 3. Howie Nave, a long time fixture here in the South Lake Tahoe community through his morning radio show (Howie’s Morning Rush KRLT 939 The Lake) and who brought The Improv Comedy Club to Tahoe with it’s founder, Budd Friedman has teamed up with Paul Reder, co-owner of The Loft Tahoe to bring national touring comedians to one of the best show rooms in the high Sierra. Ignite Adult “Cabaresque” Review at Harveys Lake Tahoe January 26 – April 27

Presenting a new blend of circus meets cabaret with a touch of burlesque, Ignite opens at the Harveys Lake Tahoe Cabaret on Saturday, January 26.  This hybrid entertainment, dubbed “cabaresque,” is the creation of Tahoe native Madeline Feldman, 27, producer of over 20 productions and owner of Prestige Productions.  Prestige is most recently known for “Essence” at Harrah’s Reno, Reno’s #1 rated show on Yelp, and “Electrify,” the 100% sold-out show from last winter, the Hard Rock Tahoe’s first resident production.

Recognizing the demise of classic “show girl” productions, such as Jubilee at Bally’s Las Vegas, and the rise of remixed music and laser light shows, Prestige Productions aims to disprove the notion that old fashioned and “new age” are mutually exclusive. Continue reading
