Through October 20 ~ From sketch to fabric, discover the history and artistry behind the Hawaiian shirt. The May Museum’s new exhibition – “Art of the Aloha Shirt” – explores the work of John “Keoni” Meigs who helped define the style that has come to define the islands. See original sketches, paintings, and shirts in this fun and colorful exhibit that will have you looking at Hawaiian shirts in a whole new way. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and children.
The balloons are back! The Great Reno Balloon Race returns to Rancho San Rafael Park September 6 – 8. The May Museum will offer FREE admission and special hours during the event.
